When I start to feel a cold coming on, the first thing I reach for is a bowl of spicy, hot soup - And usually it's takeout, because when I'm sick, I have no energy to cook at home.
To the saucepan add your tomato paste, curry powder, turmeric, salt, pepper, and coconut milk. Whisk everything together well, remove from heat. Pour your sauce over your chicken and vegetables in the slow cooker, cover with the lid and cook for 4 hours on high, or on low for 8 hours.
In a small bowl mix the rest of the ingredients together. Whisk until sauce is smooth. Place the chicken in the crockpot directly. You can cut it up in smaller pieces if using chicken breasts. Pour the sauce over the chicken and toss the chicken with the sauce so that it's fully covered.
